This is a flavorful paste for cooking made from small fish (himechi, firefly jako) and tachiuo.

This is a deep-flavored paste made by combining hairtail fish with small fish (himechi, firefly jako). It can be used as a topping for clear soup or miso soup, or you can mix it with your favorite ingredients and fry it in oil (or bake it in a frying pan) to easily make satsumaage that tastes homemade.

    Thaw the bag while still frozen under running water. Once soft, knead well in the bag before using. If you are using it as a topping for clear soup or miso soup, cut a corner of the bag, squeeze out the minced fish, shape it with a spoon, drop it into boiling soup, and cook it through. You can also mix it with your favorite ingredients (burdock, carrot, wood ear mushroom, shiso leaf, etc.), shape it, and fry it in oil or bake it in a frying pan.
