This wakame seaweed is grown in the nutrient-rich waters of Iki, Nagasaki Prefecture, where cold and warm currents collide and the ocean currents are fast. It is salted after parboiling, so please soak it in water for about 5 minutes to remove the salt and then enjoy it with your favorite seasonings.

    1. Take out the amount of wakame you need and wash it several times in a large bowl under running water. 2. Fill a bowl with water and soak the leaves for about 5 minutes until they are fully expanded. *Please note that if there is not enough water, the wakame will not expand. 3. Drain the salt-free wakame in a colander, cut it to your desired size, and enjoy with soy sauce, vinegared miso, mayonnaise, etc. You can also use it in miso soup and vinegared dishes.
